Iterative Delivery

Every milestone includes artifacts that can be opened, rather than progress reports alone

Use short iterations to expose risks early and avoid delivering everything at the end.

Answer

What we provide

New Horizon delivers iteratively by milestone. Each iteration produces the agreed models, scenes, interfaces, or reports and retains a version baseline. Reviews focus on that iteration's additions and open issues, helping the lead organization stay aligned.

Key points

  1. 01Inspectable increments
  2. 02Versions that can be rolled back
  3. 03Ongoing issue closure

Outputs of this step

  1. 01Milestone package
  2. 02Release notes
  3. 03Issues and action items
  4. 04Demonstration and rerun records

Path

How it works

  1. 01 Plan milestones
  2. 02 Implement the iteration
  3. 03 Review and resolve issues
  4. 04 Freeze the iteration baseline

Engineering Notes

Every iteration delivers a comparable increment

01

Plan the current iteration

Select tasks, inputs, and completion conditions, and list items requiring client confirmation. Prioritize risks that affect subsequent architecture and verification paths.

02

Review actual results

Demonstrate new engineering capabilities, rerun key operating conditions, and check the issue list. Progress reports should distinguish implemented work, verified work, and work still awaiting inputs.

03

Freeze and trace changes

Retain versions, change notes, and review conclusions so issues in the next iteration can be traced to changes, rather than overwriting all previous results.

04

Review Models and Reports against One Baseline

Each iteration should include model changes, requirement attribute differences, and affected verification items. Reports record model and template versions, and collaborators recheck references after updating. Reviews distinguish implementation, verification, and outstanding inputs rather than treating a successful submission as engineering completion.

05

Review Runtime State and Effective Values Each Iteration

An iteration review can follow one simulation session and one property override through initialization, cancellation, rerunning, and a template update. Deliver model and input versions, session outcomes, and unverified items together so outputs from a previous iteration do not contaminate current conclusions.
